I am a design researcher and UX practitioner specialising in human-centred design for complex industrial contexts. My approach brings together three essential pillars: users’ real-world practices and needs, business objectives and constraints, and the technological systems that enable viable solutions.
I bridge academic research and industry practice through rigorous qualitative and quantitative UX research, design methodologies, and systems thinking. I work particularly with high-stakes sectors such as aerospace, defence, and healthcare, where effective design must be useful for people, sustainable for organisations, and technically feasible. I am keen to mentor designers and researchers, and to speak about research-led design in complex environments.
