I have ~20 years experience doing research, product strategy, and design, and have always leaned into my cognitive science and human-computer interaction background to solve problems for a business, a user, an organization, or the intersection. This has led me to focus on deciding what's actually worth building, and why.
I have a consulting business and, currently, two main clients, CivicReach and BD.
- At CivicReach, I'm crafting a multi-surface (including voice!) AI agent that helps social service and government agencies serve their communities.
- At BD, I work as a Principal product designer on their AI-enabled connected care platform for hospital systems.
In both roles, that means building systems that earn the trust to be used by the people who'll actually rely on them.
I'm also active in the UX community — speaking and mentoring at community events, consulting with early-stage startup founders, and writing practitioner-to-practitioner blogs on experience design.
